help_outline Why should I use the Powdercloud Platform?

There are two important reasons. First, to create a database of industry-specific snow, weather, and avalanche observations that can be mutually shared with other backcountry operations of your choice. Second, to have our unique management tool that can analyze your snow science data, organize your day-to-day activities, build a client database, and market your business.

help_outline How does the sharing of snow science data work?

Your data is stored on a secure cloud platform, and only you decide who has access. Reciprocal sharing rights can be granted. You can view shared data by individual operation or across all shared operations in a single view. Data is immediately accessible once entered via any modern web browser or mobile device.

help_outline What do I need to run the Powdercloud Platform?

Powdercloud is designed to run on all computers or laptops with a modern web browser such as Chrome or Safari. For remote operations without internet access, offline capabilities are available for field data collection.

help_outline Why do you offer a mobile solution?

Being able to enter snow science data on a handheld device provides real-time data transfer to and from your home base. Even without cellular access, you can upload data at the end of the day — much easier than typing field book notes.
